Conference Update: April 3-18.

The D21 Communication & Leadership Award Recipient has been announced!

This year’s recipient is Tom Budd of Kelowna. Budd is a well-respected former investment banker and a much-appreciated philanthropist, having supported many charities and causes in and around Kelowna.

Mr. Budd will be recognized for his contributions to his community and the communication and leadership skills that he exemplifies, at the Friday evening dinner.

One of our keynote speakers is Mary Morrison DTM who is the Region One Representative on Toastmasters International Board of Directors.

Besides sharing her sage advice, she will be making some corporate visits on behalf of Toastmasters International.

On Thursday April 19th at 3:00 pm, Mary will be presenting Toastmasters International’s Corporate Recognition Award to Kelowna Mayor Colin Basran at Kelowna City Hall.

This will take place at special meeting of the Kelowna City Hall Toastmasters Club. Guests are welcome to attend and participate!

Kelowna City Hall will be recognized for their enhancing employee engagement through continuing support of the Toastmasters program. 

On Friday April 20th at 10:30 am at City Hall Penticton, Mary will be presenting Penticton Mayor Andrew Jackubeit, Toastmasters International’s Corporate Recognition Award for the City of Penticton’s ongoing support of local Toastmasters clubs.
